Huc est mens deducta tua, mea Lesbia*, culpa,
atque ita se officio perdidit* ipsa suo,
ut iam nec bene velle queat tibi, si optuma fias*,
nec desistere amare, omnia* si facias.
(At this point, my mind has been completely destroyed, and its your fault, Lesbia, and so, it has wracked itself from doing its natural function, and that's why it can neither wish you well now, even if you became the best woman in the world, nor can it stop loving you, even if you did God knows what.)
