Martial, Epigram 2.89

Marcus Valerius Martialis
1st-2nd c. AD (over 1,900 years ago)
Trans. RMBullard
Latin (Silver Age)

Quod nimio gaudes noctem producere vino, ignosco: vitium, Gaure, Catonis habes.
(That you rejoice excessively in prolonging the night with wine, I forgive: Gaurus, you have Cato's bad habit;)

carmina quod scribis Musis et Apolline nullo, laudari debes: hoc Ciceronis habes.
(That you write poems from the Muses and without Apollo, you should be praised: you take this from Cicero;)

quod uomis, Antoni: quod luxuriaris, Apici.
(So you vomit, like Antony: so you eat lavishly, like Apicius;)

quod fellas, vitium, dic mihi, cuius habes?
(That you suck cock: tell me, from whom do you take this vice from?)
